You need to make sure they are comfortable first and foremost. A beautiful pair of wedding shoes can be elegant and stylish and with the way they are made today you can wear them comfortably for the whole day of your wedding and still have the latest fashionable look.
If you are looking for bridal shoes be prepared to dish out some cash, they are not cheap. You can expect to pay anywhere from three hundred dollars to several thousand dollars depending upon how elaborate you want to go with them. For a modest designer bridal shoe you will spend around $600 or so.
The higher end bridal shoes that are priced in the thousands of dollars are really designed for celebrities and daughters of the wealthy and affluent, you know like the Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie types. A great portion of the price is for marketing or in the case of a high priced pair of designer bridal shoes, a good portion goes to the designer, usually about a third, then another third or so to marketing with the remainder being the actual true cost to make the shoes.
One type of designer bridal shoe that has become very popular of late is the type that can be dyed any color. This comes in handy for matching to a wedding gown. Always go with white since they will give the truest color when dyed, also you can re-dye them later to match a party or cocktail dress. This is being smart with your money; by taking advantage of a shoe that can be dyed you turn a shoe designed for a one time occasion into something that can be worn over and over.
Unless you are very used to wearing them you should probably stay away from very high heeled bridal shoes. It is far more important to feel comfortable and sure footed as you walk down the aisle than to feel wobbly and unsure of your steps. With most bridal gowns no one is going to see your lower legs anyway. Most major designers test their bridal shoes so that they are made to be comfortable for several hours. Just take your time and have fun shopping, you know you love it.

What we wear says a lot about us so it is important that we give a good impression at first glance. Also, we would want to look our shining best every time so wearing a great looking outfit is a concern to most of us.
Going simple would always work for all occasions whether it is formal or informal. Wearing something simple is the safest way to go to avoid drawing too much attention from other people especially if you are wearing something too outrageous either in design or in color. The great thing also with a simple ensemble is that you could always play with various accessories without looking too much of a clutter.
Always have a simple dress that you could use for a day wedding or a graduation occasion. The color all depends on your taste but those in bold single shades look elegant to wear. Have a semi-formal long dress on hand for not-so-formal day weddings. A short dress would also be okay to wear to a graduation affair. Have a black dress or suit on stand by which you could also use when you will be attending funeral rites or a religious service.
When going out for a special date, what you wear solely depends on the venue or on where you and your date will be going. If you will be going for some fine dining meal, then of course dress appropriately for the venue with maybe a semi-formal long dress or a cocktail dress if you are going to a very classy restaurant. For a casual date, wear a comfortable set of slim jeans or a skirt paired with a good looking top. A great set of heels should cap off your look. Nothing makes a girl look taller, leaner and sexier than a great pair of high heels.
For a simple party like maybe a birthday celebration, a luncheon or a baby shower, have a feminine casual look with maybe a sundress or a skirt paired with a soft looking top. Wear a cocktail dress with interesting details to stand out at a cocktail party or a night wedding occasion. Go for strapless to show some skin giving you that sexy look. A short dress would be more ideal for a cocktail affair.
For a black tie or a gala event, go all out with an elegant looking gown. Make it simple but sexy by showing some skin by either going strapless, or showing your back with a backless dress or exposing a bit of your smooth, slender legs. Don’t forget to wear jewelry or other accessories to give accent to your ensemble.
